OPEN FARM DAYS

Our pasture is growing like gangbusters, thanks to all the rain and the gorgeous sunny days that followed. Our Tamworth and Tamworth/Old Spot pigs are tearing into a fresh pasture as I write this. Come out and see our new farm over the winter during our "Open Farm Days". Because many of our customers don't have access to a nearby farmers market to buy our meat & eggs and because so many of you ask to see the farm, over the next few months we will be opening up our farm once a month for you to visit, buy some products, or take a hike. You can even bring a picnic. The dates are more or less every 4 weeks, always on Sundays from 10am to 4pm.

• Sunday, March 14th, 10am to 4pm

All customers on Open Farm Days will get 5% off their total purchases, and you can have a 30-45 minute free farm tour as well. Just email us ahead of time if you are coming, and we will give you the address and directions. Everybody is invited to just drop by during the open hours, take a look around, buy some meat and eggs, go for a hike or picnic at your leisure.

All we ask from you is not to bring any dogs, don't come when you have the flu, supervise your children, and drive cautiously when you pull down our driveway. Also, we have one friendly farm dog who will probably greet you when you arrive. For the time being, our laying hens are located at our other farm in Las Lomas—that is not the site of the Open Farm Days.
